Seek his presence

ā€œYou will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermoreā€ Psalm 16:11, NKJV.

In one of my favorite songs, the chorus simply says ā€œYour presence is heaven to meā€.

Iā€™ve been in the presence of a lot of people, but no oneā€™s presence gives a fullness of joy like the Lord. It canā€™t be found in the things we can acquire. Itā€™s not found in the sports we watch. Itā€™s not found the wife we have. His word says that in HIS presence is the fullness of joy, a complete joy!

How do you get into Godā€™s presence? It is the same as it is naturally with a personā€“come to Him with no agenda. One way to come before Him is with heartfelt praise because He inhabits the praises of His people (see Psalm 22:3). He dwells in your praise. Also, anytime you come honestly and humbly in prayer before Him, the Lord will meet you there.

God is real and so is a tangible experience of Him. Wherever you are, whether youā€™re going through a trial, or you are weary, the presence of God will refresh your soul. Seek His Presence today.

Prayer: Father, I praise You! I come before You with no agenda. Thereā€™s nothing like being in Your presence and in it thereā€™s fullness of joy! I desire to experience Your presence today. Fill my cup Father and refresh me. Lift everything that is heavy, and before You I am reminded of the victory I have in Christ. In Jesusā€™ name, Amen!

No more Excuses

ā€œā€˜Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.ā€™ But Moses said to God, ā€˜Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?ā€™ā€ Exodus 3:10-11, NKJV.

Excuses will leave us in an old day when the Lord has a new one ahead. There would be no Passover if Moses would have held on to his fears. He would have missed what is considered the greatest miracle of God and the deliverance of His people if he would have held on to his excuses and not believe God.

If you hold on to what you think you canā€™t do, you wonā€™t experience what God can do through you. He says no more excuses. They will ultimately keep you from the most awesome miracles and breakthroughs in your life, restoration, the highest height of Godā€™s plan for you, and the best version of you in Christ. Itā€™s time for those dreams to come to pass. Let nothing keep you from it.

Prayer: Father, I thank You and give You glory today. I want to see You in a fresh, new way in my life. I want to see You use me for greatness. Help me not to allow an excuse to keep me from Your best and the exciting things You have planned for my life. Help me to believe and trust You. I can do what You said I can do! You are with me. In Jesusā€™ name, I pray, Amen.

Get your fire back

ā€œNevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first loveā€ Revelation 2:4, NKJV.

I have a lifelong friend of mine, and sometimes we can go gaps of time without talking. It can seem as if we are not even close. However, all I have to do is call him. We get to laughing, and itā€™s always just like old times again. Our friendship never left. We just needed to rekindle it.

Your fire for God is still there and donā€™t believe otherwise. You only need to call on Him and rekindle it. Get your fire back!

Prayer: Father, I feel so far away, yet Youā€™ve never left me. I believe all I have to do is call. I want my fire back! I want to be who You have called me to be. I come against any hindrances in my life, and I stir up the gift in me. I receive Your unearned grace today. Fill me with Your Spirit! I love You first, Lord. Father, it feels like old times again! Thank You for Your presence and Your joy! Even move beyond the old, and I ask for a new fire. Thank You for saving me, and You still keep blessing me! Hallelujah! In Jesusā€™ name, Amen!

He will make away

ā€œRemember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desertā€ Isaiah 43:18-19, NKJV.

The Lord promises His people that He will always make a way. Just because you donā€™t see how it will be done, doesnā€™t mean He canā€™t and wonā€™t do it for you. You may feel like youā€™re in the last hour, running out of time, and youā€™re wondering when God will come through like He said He would. Sometimes, it can be tough waiting on the Lord. But He always comes through.

He will always come through for you.

The trying of our faith produces patience (see James 1:3). Maybe your faith in God is being tried, and you are having to trust and depend on Him in a deeper way, but wait on the Lord. You will see Him do the impossible for you. You will see His favor shine upon you. Stay in faith, listening to be led, and receive the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. He will make a way.

Prayer: Father, You are faithful, and thereā€™s none like You. You will make a way. Even when we find ourselves in troubling situations, Your goodness and mercy are always there. Thank You! Help my faith in You to deepen right now. By faith, I praise You for it in advance. Be glorified in my life. You will make a way. In Jesusā€™ name, Amen!

ā€œSo everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rockā€ Matthew 7:24, Amplified.

If you hear Jesusā€™ sayings and do them, Jesus calls you a wise man. It is as if He stands in front of you after youā€™ve heard and applied His word in your life, and He says thatā€™s a great decision. Imagine Jesus Himself calling you wiseā€“practical, far-sighted, and sensible.

It is wise to hear and apply what Jesus says right now. Many things are happening all around us. There are many things built on sand that are being shaken. Yet, choose to build your house on the rock of Jesus Christ, and they will uphold you in the storm. You will keep standing. Regarding your marriage, your finances, your friendships, and your home make Christ the foundation. Be a wise man.

Prayer: Father, I give You all the praise and glory! Thank You for making me a wise man. Even in these times, there is a rock for me found in Jesus Christ. Come what may, my house will not be shaken! Cause to make any adjustments in any area of my life from building it on sand. Help me to hear Your sayings and apply them. I declare my house will victoriously stand. In Jesusā€™ name, Amen.

He just wants to talk to you

ā€œThe Spirit of the Lord speaks by me; his word is on my tongueā€ 2 Samuel 23:2, ESV.

When I woke up this morning, God told me that Iā€™m blessed. The truth is, I canā€™t say I felt like it, though. But as I began to allow the Father to talk to me, to pour into me, He picked me up, and I felt better.

When you wake up in the morning, the Father wants to talk to you. When you are going throughout your day, the Father wants to talk to you. As a father with a son, thereā€™s a fellowship that the Father wants to have with you.

With so many things happening around us, it can be easy to be distracted in our lives. Then, we find ourselves during our day, hearing everything us more than we are hearing God. Yet, if you will stop and allow Him to talk to you, youā€™ll hear Him tell you exactly what you need. Youā€™ll hear Him give you the right perspective about your situation. Heā€™ll say itā€™s going to work out. The Holy Spirit will remind you of what Jesus the Prince of Peace has said, and you donā€™t have to worry.

Whatever you may be going through, open His word because He wants to talk to you. He has given you an expected end.

Prayer: Father, thank You for wanting to talk to me. The God of all things, Creator of all things, wants to speak to me. Help me to allow you to. Help me to position my mind and heart to not be distracted, but walk and talk with you. Itā€™s a great day today. The Lord is with me. In Jesusā€™ name, Amen.

I believe who you say I am

ā€œHe said to them, ā€˜But who do you say that I am?ā€™ Simon Peter answered and said, ā€˜You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.ā€™ā€¦ā€™And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it’ā€ Matthew 16:15-18, NKJV.

Simon told Jesus who he was. We wonder then was it surprising to Peter how Jesus responded. Jesus told Simon who he was. Jesus said you are not Simon anymore. You are now Peter, and you heard no disagreement from him. Peter received who Jesus said he was.

You have told Jesus who he is, and the greatest blessing in life is for him to be revealed to you. But thatā€™s not all. In the Lordā€™s great confidence, goodness, and truth, the Lord says now receive who I say you are. It can be a fight to not believe it sometimes, but like Peter, he wants you believe.

You may have had some stumbles, as we all have, but that doesnā€™t change what he says about you. That doesnā€™t change who you are. You may have weapons formed against you, but that doesnā€™t change the truth that the gates of hell will not prevail against you. You are victorious. You are strong in him. You have promises that wonā€™t fail. You are a new creature in Christ, and now you can leap over a wall and run through a troop. No demon in hell can stop you from your calling and destiny. Receive with joy, you are who God says you are, and you will do what God says you can do.

Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for the revelation I have of you. Help me to stand and believe deep down who you say that I am. I can do what you say I can do. There are no limits in my life. I am forgiven and new. I am full of power and authority. I receive and believe who you say that I am. In Jesusā€™ name, Amen!

A masterpiece

Heā€™s Making a Masterpiece

ā€œThat you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promisesā€ Hebrews 6:12, NKJV.

Imagine an artist creating a work of art. The amount of paint they put on their bush is gently enough and perfect. Their stokes are slow and right. Their color choices are magnificent. The mix of blending and when to blend is if they were divine, as you watch their creation come to life. Itā€™s nothing short of brilliance.

As you stand in amazement, you think they are certainly done from what you can tell. Yet, they stop, take a moment to observe their work and say, ā€œNo, not yet.ā€

They then go to whole another level of painting, as they add a new layer of paint to the canvas. As you wait to see what is becoming of the work, you begin to rest. You begin to understand what it means to slow down and enjoy it. Appreciate it. You begin to understand why they do what they do and become content, trusting the direction of the artist. Your soul becomes at peace with wherever they are going with it, no matter how long it takes. You have no doubt when theyā€™re done, you will behold a masterpiece.

God is the Artist and Heā€™s making you a masterpiece. Some things havenā€™t happened yet, but begin to rest in the Fatherā€™s work. Slow down and youā€™ll see exactly whatā€™s Heā€™s doing. Like winking the eye, the Father says trust Me. Regarding that desire for a wife, trust Me. When Iā€™m done, it will be a masterpiece.

Prayer: Father, I praise You. You are making a masterpiece for me. You are even working on a mate for me that I desire. Help me to understand and see that You are doing so many things for me right now. I will trust Your direction. I will be patient and trust You. In Jesusā€™ name, Amen.
